Thoughtcrime
I am relatively unmoved by the fate of Madeline McCann.
I mean, yes. Horror. Obviously. The thing is, the world is soggy with horror and the fact that it's happening to a tow-haired tot doesn't seem enough to me to make front-page news for two weeks.
Does this make me a bad person? I have been told as much on two seperate occaisions now.

I've echoed your comments in my own little online rant space. :)
I'm in the same boat as you. It's just one more picture of a sweet little girl in a football shirt superimposed over her crying parents, followed by eight emails in my inbox saying "joe bloggs has invited you to the group 'prayer for madeleine mccann', and every single one of those groups has a different spelling of her name.
Lessons to be learned: Never dress your children in football shirts.
So are we all. It's what too much education does for a person.
Actually, I considered making a facebook group called "I am puzzled by the extent of public concern for McCann", but I don't need the kind of remonstration that would surely get me.
Also, I worry that I channel every irrelevant thought in my head into facebook groups, when I should really be blogging them.
